A graduation page
A graduation is one of the few days where the achievement is genuinely theirs and everyone else was only watching. A page is a way for the watching to be said out loud, by all of them, at once.
What to put on it
Start at the first day, not the last
Find a photo from the beginning of the course, before any of it had happened. Put it first. Everything after it becomes evidence.
Include the part that nearly did not work
The resit, the year out, the point where they talked about quitting. Naming it is what turns a congratulations into a record of what it actually took.
Bring in the people who are not at the ceremony
Tickets are limited and families are not. The wish link has no seat limit, so the grandparents and the friends who could not travel still get to say something.

Questions about graduation pages
Can classmates add wishes as well as family?
Anyone with the wish link can, and they do not need an account. A page holds up to 30 wishes, which covers most families plus a course group.
Does this work for secondary school as well as university?
It works for any point where someone finished something — secondary school, a trade qualification, a professional exam. Nothing on the page mentions a degree.
Can I share it publicly instead of privately?
The link is unguessable rather than blocked, so you can post it anywhere you like if that is what you want. It just will not turn up in search results on its own.
